100 Days of Sketchbooks
I love playing and experimenting in my sketchbook and have completed several challenges over the years. one of my favourites in my recent 100 days of Sketchbooking - where I painted, drew, or collaged my daily life for 100 days.
Most of these pages are mixed media, but occasionally I would branch out into other mediums. Collage was a very fun experiment.
I even tried my hand at a bit of abstract art. It was very fun, but not something I am drawn to often. Sometimes I would branch out itno new subjects, like these pheasants.
Trying new mediums and subjects without barriers or expectations is one of my favourite things about sketchbooking.
In November we moved to the Lake District and my sketchbook became a place to make records of all the new sights and experiences!
Over the 100 days, I learned a lot about mixed media, the subjects that I prefer and shy away from, and recorded some lovely memories to look back on.
