Possum Family

I painted this mixed-media piece on a live stream using watercolour, pencils and crayons. This has become a favourite mix of materials for me and allows me to play freely with colour and texture and the unpredictable nature of watercolour.

The work I create on live streams is often a bit hurried, unfinished or just doesn’t turn out great. It must be the combination of drawing with an audience and chatting! But I love this piece so much, it is one of those pieces that make you think “I’m on to something here!”
